DA RONA GETTING ON MY NERVES

Affirmations I am extending to you this month are:

I am free, I am abundant, I am stronger!

The month of March took forever to end and April was quick as ever I wonder what the month of May will be for all of us. As we go through the motions of everything that is Rona, the loss, the gains, the reflection, and even the insanity-It’s important to acknowledge we are all at different phases of coming to terms with the new normal.

If you’re an essential worker reading this I would first like to thank you for the priceless gift you are given to everyone living in this new world. All the grocery store clerks, transit workers, doctors nurses, and everyone in between. We really could do this without you, and we could never really say thank you enough for what you are bringing to the communities you live in.

If you are a person who has lost your job in this challenging transition I wish you abundance in whatever it is you need in this particular time. My personal advice to everyone is to apply to every government subsidy possible. Even if you think you don’t qualify apply, cause let’s be real  THEY OWE!!

To all of us with the privilege to work from home, it is a struggle but be grateful. Many Black people don’t have this privilege cause of systematic oppression. Which we can talk about all day, but let’s focus on things that feed our soul, cause ain’t nobody got time for that.

We don’t know what will happen next, there is so much uncertainty, .but we know we have community and each other. Let’s come together and create a resource guide for each other. What are community efforts happening in your neighborhood you would like to amplify. Please let us know in the comments so we can share them with the rest of the Ms. Vixen community!
